almost there

Right now I'm sitting in the dingy but satisfactory Queen Alia International Airport doing my best to stay awake so I don't miss my short but sweet flight to Beirut in a couple of hours. It feels good to be off the plane, as it was packed with large extended families with hoards of young, screaming children who seemed to have made an agreement that at least one of them should be shrieking at all times during the entire 12 hour flight. I only squeezed in about 3-4 hours Wednesday night, so right now...it's Friday? I swear I keep hearing people calling my name. I'm tired I think. But I think this whole mind-numbing brain whitewash is good somehow. Emptying out my mind and making room for all the new things...Beiruty fruity things and such.

I also met a private contractor on his way to Baghdad, and he was a fucking douchebag. What a shocker...
